Free Speech: Overrated

Here at The Pit, we are known to ponder a conundrum of two. And today, we do a TON of just that. We ask questions like: would humans be a healthy source of meat, or is Star Trek racist, or would you fellate your clone? Ya know, just normal, basic philosophical queries…

But that’s not all, folks… We also talk about a brand new film starring our very own resident myna bird, Rob Snow! The film is called S86, it's an independent sci-fi/horror film debuting this December in select theaters. Rob gives a preview and a lil behind the scenes of the filming process.

PATREON EXCLUSIVE: we go through even more from the cornucopia of content that is Andrew Ho and the Soup Nazi Kitchen of Everett, WA. This may even have bled into the regular episode.

And make sure you go watch the video accompanying on our Youtube! Out the same day as this episode. Link in the description.

We also have some merch for sale up on our Etsy, as well as a limited run of embroidered beanies out now! Only a few left… Shoot us a DM on IG if you’re interested.

About the Podcast

The Nostalgia Pit
FKA: Ruining Your Childhood - The Pitfalls of Nostalgia
The Nostalgia Pit is a podcast aiming to dissect pop culture, the subconscious, and other psychological phenomena through a hyperbolic and prismatic lens. Hosted by Rob Snow and Colin Casserd, the Nostalgia Pit is available anywhere you find your podcasts.

Nostalgia is so often thought of as something great from our childhood... But this psychological pitfall can sometimes have massive effects on our decision making. Our goal here is to discuss these areas where morals and ethics blur and the warm feelings of childhood take over. Oh, and to talk some shit...
